Terms and Conditions
While the products displayed in the images on online store will be products that are shipped upon request, there are slight variations within each of the product lines (color, mold shape, package design, etc…) that may make the contents slightly different from package to package. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the contents of your package and cannot honor any specific requests for a particular set of contents within a product line.
We will try to process and ship all orders within 48 hours of receiving your request, but delays may occur and the shipment of your product may be delayed.
We ship all of our products from Japan using the “Japan Post” Japanese Postal Service using their various airmail shipping options.
Packages shipped via International Airmail or SAL are shipped without any tracking or insurance options and once the package has left our warehouse, liability for its successful shipment is assumed by JP Post and your contry’s local postal service or shipping provider. Any problems you have with shipping should be filed directly with your postal provider.
Due to the shipments crossing borders, there is a possibility that your package may be opened by customs and the contents inspected. This will invariably increase the shipping time considerably and your order may arrive well after the estimated date.
We will make every effort to ship to the address specified as your shipping address as listed on the Marimo Marshmallow Store website. If the address listed on our website does not appear to be valid or there is concern regarding the origin of the payment, we may ship to your billing address or the address attached to your PayPal account or credit card.
The shipping dates listed with each method are estimates and may not reflect the actual shipping duration. The estimates are provided by Japan Post but may vary due to weather, national holidays (both in Japan and the destination country), customs inspections or other similar issues. If an order has not arrived by the shipping date, please contact us and we will make every effort to check on the status of your order. In some instances, delays of up to a few weeks may occur.
Taxes & Tariffs
We are not responsible for any taxes or tariffs that may be applied to products entering your country. For more information, please contact your local customs office to find out more about any potential taxes or tariffs that you may be charged when receiving your order.
We accept returns within 60 days of the purchase date. Before a refund may be issued, the products must arrive at our warehouse in Japan. Any shipping expenses associated with sending the products back to Japan are the responsibility of the customer. We can issued a refund for the cost of the returned goods, but the shipping expenses are not refundable.
If an order is lost in transit, we are able to issue refunds after a 30 day waiting period from the estimated date of delivery.
We reserve to right to cancel your order for any reason and issue a full refund to you for the cost of the order and associated shipping.
